Art/Photography Submission Guidelines

You may submit up to six pieces of black and white art or photography. Submissions must be high resolution (recommended: 300 dpi in jpeg or png format). Camera photos are preferred to smartphone photos. Submissions of 2D art should be high-quality scans or camera photos with good lighting (no distracting shadows), and should never be smartphone photos. Your work is more likely to be rejected if it is in color and if it is low resolution. All pieces submitted in color will be printed in black and white.

Please submit your high-resolution pieces to hanginglanternreview@gmail.com with an email introducing yourself. In your email, please provide a short bio including your name, grade, school, and some interests, along with the title of your piece (if you have one).
